Licensed in 2004, I became involved in the amateur radio community right from the start; joining Jupiter Tequesta Repeater Group, Martin County Amateur Radio Association and Martin County ARES as well as ARRL.

By 2005 I had upgraded my license privileges, completing Element 1 5WPM Morse code and the Element 3 General exam and began ARECC, FEMA and NIMS training.

In 2006 I completed 11 FEMA/NIMS courses, ARECC EC002.

In 2007 I was appointed to Southern Florida Section – Webmaster at which time I began to create the sections new web presence. Since that time I have maintained and hosted the sflarrl.org website seen today. During the summer of 2007 I was offered an ARRL SFL Section Technical Specialist appointment and I also upgraded to Amateur Extra.

What else do I do? I’m the comptroller for the company my wife and I started in 1995, an electronics, electro-mechanical design and manufacturing firm. I also enjoy photography; actually, the majority of images used on the sflarrl.org website were taken from my portfolio of over 120,000 pictures.

That’s about it; thanks for taking the time to get to know me! I hope to meet you at a Hamfest or Southern Florida Section meeting sometime soon.
