I was first licensed in the early 60's as WN2OUK in Long Beach, Long Island, NY, where I grew up. Was active in the local radio club & the ARES/RACES group; those interests carried with me thru my over 40 years in amateur radio. I hold an FCC Extra Class license & First Class Radiotelephone License now called a GROL. Retired after 25 years as the communications engineer in South Florida for the Florida Division of Forestry. I am a life member of ARRL, QCWA & the Antique Wireless Association. Have held or now hold most of the SFL Section leadership appointments including ASM, ACC, TC, SEC & DEC as well as ADD for SE Division Director, Frank Butler. I am a Senior Grade Member of the Radio Club of America & member of the ARRL A1 Operator Club. Past President of the Ft. Myers & West Palm Beach ARC & former EC & RO in Lee & Palm Beach counties. My XYL, Myra, K3PGH & I live in Royal Palm Beach & Dothan, Alabama.
